Tours
Choosing a school for your family is a big decision and TES is here to help you throughout this significant process of consideration. It is important that you get to know our school before you apply so that you can determine if it is a good fit for your family. Our tours are a great way to learn more about our educational philosophy, see our school community in action, get a sense of the location as it relates to your commute, and have all of your questions answered. Each tour provides an overview of our school’s innovative programs as you tour through the physical space. The majority of our tours are offered during the school day, with the idea that the best way you can experience the magic of TES is by viewing our superb educators and student Explorers in action. For families unable to join us during school hours, several evening tours are also available.
Tours typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour. It is recommended that children who are rising 3rd grade age and younger remain home during the tour if possible. (If childcare is an issue, please contact the school to see if accomodations can be made.) Our elementary tour is adult-centric, and young children tend to become restless. Children who receive a seat during the lottery will be able to visit the school during orientation, to help build a sense of community before the first day of school. Students who are rising 4th grade and older are encouraged to attend the tours.
Please do not forego a tour with the assumption that you will visit the school if granted a seat after the lottery; tours are not provided outside the planned tour dates listed below.

Tour Policies
The safety and security of our school is critical. For tours held during the day, you must bring a valid driver’s license/official ID to check-in to the school and participate in the tour. (If you have questions/concerns about presenting identification, please contact the school prior to visiting.)
Please park in the upper gravel parking lot. Walk along the paved driveway down the hill to the main entrance. See the map below to learn where to park.
