TES is a beautiful and quick walking distance from the Orange County Public Library (OCPL),located in downtown Hillsborough. In an innovative partnership between TES and OCPL, any student enrolled at TES (regardless of county of residence) is automatically signed up for an OCPL card and thus has borrowing privileges. Each semester, every class at TES will visit OCPL, where they have access to a more robust collection than what is typically provided by a small school media center. In addition to the access to OCPL resources, students, staff and parent volunteers who join each class for their visits enjoy the nature-filled trip along Hillsborough’s River Walk.
