LeaceyLeacey Bachhuber

Nurse/Reception

Leacey was born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina. After initially seeking a fine arts degree in upstate New York, she realized her desire for a career in healthcare (and her dislike of long winters!) and moved back to NC. Leacey earned her bachelors in nursing at UNC Chapel Hill, and spent the first 12 years of her nursing career working in Labor and Delivery. On the heels of a pandemic, she made the decision to transition out of inpatient nursing and discovered a new passion as a school nurse and front desk receptionist here at TES. Leacey lives in Efland with her husband, 3 delightful children, and many beloved creatures. When she is not enjoying her wonderful job and school community, you might find her having fun with her family, fermenting vegetables, reading, or spending time at her sewing machine.
